		When we first saw Margie, it was for a front tooth that was missing and she had an ill-fitting flipper to replace it and it didn't work well. "I would like to tell you the full story of how I came to know Dr. Stevens. I had health problems, and I went to Sunnyside Community Hospital. The doctors said I had a liver abscess. I was then flown to Virginia Mason Hospital in Seattle; the doctors there said the cause of my liver abscess was from the mercury amalgam in my teeth. According to the World Health Organization, 3-17 micrograms of mercury are released a day from one filling; I had six. I was in Virginia Mason Hospital for about 7 or 8 days, then came home to Sunnyside and began looking for a dentist who would remove my mercury fillings. Some said they still used mercury fillings and would not clean, remove, or replace with ceramic filling. I will quote from Dr. Atkins that I "might have to search to find a holistic dentist to remove your mercury fillings." I called Dr. Clark, my old friend, and he referred me to Dr. Stevens. Yes, Yes, the Dr. Stevens right here in Sunnyside. Dr. Stevens cleaned my teeth and removed the mercury fillings, and replaced them with ceramic fillings. When I began my search for a dentists, I thought I might have to go to Spokane, or elsewhere. The expense was less here in Sunnyside, and there were no long trips to Spokane.
